Author Notes: For the ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) hott_baguettes Discography Challenge - "Sorry About That" by Alkaline Trio/sung by the incredible Matt Skiba. I've always wanted to write a fic based upon this song because it's one of my favourites. I finally decided it was time to get my idea down and share it. It isn't perfect, oh well.

robyn! so today was a pretty busy day for me and i never got time to start typing this earlier like i wanted to and i know you're feeling pretty lousy right now (even though that shouldn't be the case!) i just wanted to say happy birthday or (bonne fete!) properly because i don't know what i said last night but i know i was pretty crazy and not in the state to be talking to anybody on aim period.
thanks for putting up with my bullshit and craziness. i hope you know how fabulous you are and how happy i am that we've became great friends over the last year. i can't even begin to think of all the crazy conversations we've had on aim and irl. we are ridiculous and i love it. you're the only person who shares the same perverted thoughts as me. really want to see what's under those tight red pants...ahem. total brain-twins and i wouldn't have it any other way.
i've said this before but it's like... "where have you been my whole life?" we should've started talking ages ago but i'm glad we finally found each other. i didn't know there was anybody else out there that loved and looked up to david desrosiers as much as i did until i started talking to you. david did bring us together... as fucking stupid as that sounds. i wish i was there for your birthday like last year but i do know that next year is gonna be crazy awesome for the both of us. we will be kick-ass roomies. so many shared memories that will be rememberable. i know it! it will be fabulous.
i have a great feeling about you and i really hope that all your dreams do come true because i've never known somebody so determined to be somebody even more great. you're 21 and invincible. this is only the start of your life!

there were moments once and awhile where i wondered why they've been my favourite band all of these years and in gananoque - i remembered just exactly why. i love so many bands but they make me fall in love with them more and more each time and i cannot thank them enough for being so amazing. being a fan of theirs has been a blast these last seven years and even the last six shows this year have been amazing and some of the best. it's all i could ask for. je t'aime, simple plan. merci beaucoup!
